I was sad to hear this afternoon when Amy called to tell me that actor Heath Ledger was found dead in his NYC apartment.

I liked his work (the films I'd seen) such as 10 Things I Hate About You, The Patriot, and A Knight's Tale, plus the Aussie Indie film Two Hands.

He had just completed Dark Knight, the second "new" Batman movie in which he took on the role of the Joker, a huge undertaking considering the mark to hit set by Jack Nicholson.

So sad... I think I watched A Knight's Tale over a hundred times since it came out. I liked him as an actor in all of his movies. This is so sad...

10 Things is one of our favorite movies over here. I am so sad about his passing.

Sad, sad news. I like him as an actor, too.
