Saturday Photo Hunt - Water

I wish I could find my portfolio from my years as a freelancer, because I have a great shot for today. Instead, another option. ANYONE who has trraveled I-95 near Gaffney, SC since 1981 knows this landmark. It's South Carolina's way of telling the world they produce more peaches than neighbor Georgia, the Peach State. Of course in Georgia we can now qualify as the yellow pollen state.

That's funny! Great picture for the theme!!! My DH says it must have taken a lot of water to grow that peach!

Man, if that ain't the truth about Georgia being the pollen state!!!! Is it not awful? Our black auto's are yellow!! LOL

Great shot, I'd like to see that!

Happy Saturday!

It's a great landmark and a lot nicer esthetically speaking than the rest of them!

Blogger is eating comments this morning. I drove past this several times on my way from Columbus, MS to Virginia Beach. You can see it for miles and it never fails to make me chuckle. It looks like a science fiction movie should be made about it... Wait! James and the Giant Peach (that ate NYC)?

I'm gonna try commenting again! Like I said earlier, but you didn't get to read it~They made the peac look good enough to eat! I love your take on today's water theme!

I am thankful for all the delicious fruits we can enjoy living in the US!

That is so funny. I have never been to SC, but my kids would love to see that! I heard about the pollen issue on the news, hope y'all don't have allergies!

I am thankful that my allergies are finally better today!

Being all the way from Prince Edward Island, I can actually say that I have driven by and seen this wonderful water tower. I was visiting a 'friend' once in Greenville South Carolina, but my plane flew into Raleigh, N.C. We drove by this on the way back to Greenville!!! I was surprised to see it, and I had forgotten about it before today!
