About mom
My mom had a thyroidectomy on Friday. She is seemingly fine now. It cane about because she had some growths detected and they biopsied those. Two of the three were benign and the third was inconclusive so they decided to take out the entire thyroid as a precaution. It's been a rough patch of months as she also had 2 of her cats die since December and she is in the middle of a wrongful termination lawsuit.

Geez, I'd say that old adage "when it rains, it pours" could certainly be applied, huh? So glad she's doing okay now!
