Unemployable

So the latest encouragement in my job search arrived today in the form of two emails from my wife's employer, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

It appears I am unemployable as a Supply Chain Tech/Courier or as a Transportation Specialist. These jobs are pulling supplies and delivering them to other places within the hospital network where they are needed, and driving patients families and guests around.

I am not qualified to even get an interview for either of these jobs.

And did I mention yesterday I got an estimate on the repair of my car door? $1200 to have a door that will close and latch on a car that is worth less than $3500 (if it had working air conditioning, which it does not).

Do NOT get discouraged Michael. I know this is easier said than done, and we are praying for you every day. You and my Michael need to get together to brainstorm.

I've been in your shoes, so I know exactly how you are feeling. Just remember that each no is one step closer to a yes, and that while it may seem that any job would be fine at this point, God has a plan for you, and the right job will come in His time. For me, I finally figured out that I was meant to stay at home with my kids (1 special needs). Every time I think I might want to go back to work, things come up and show me that it is not the right time. Just keep trying...perhaps the position He wants you in hasn't opened yet...God has great things in store for you, and I KNOW that patience is hard in theses situations!

Man, do I wish you lived in my area. I would so hire you! I'm a sales manager for a builder and I could use an assistant. Not a tough job. Just open your mouth and talk to people about our beautiful homes...... Check out the builders in the Atlanta area I know for a fact they're a ton of them. Lived in Atlanta and have family there.......fun job. Does require weekends.
