Today we started our Fall charity drive at Walgreens. In the Fall we raise money for JDRF, the Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation. We're doing a point-of-sale donation where a guest can add a dollar or five dollars to their total. If they make a $5 donation, they will receive a coupon good for $5 off the purchase of photo greeting cards in our lab.

I sold 4 $1 cards if I remember right. Nathan, our soon-to-be college kid cashier had something like 12-15 during his shift. Awesome start!

We'll probably do a Saturday grill-out when the weather cools a bit, selling hot dogs and cokes outside the store.
