Friday Feast #50

Appetizer - When was the last time you had your hair cut/trimmed?
Monday, May 12, 2008. I know this because I blogged about the experience and how it harkened back to days gone by in a real barber shop, and I should get another cut soon.

Soup - Name one thing you miss about being a child.
The illusions of goodness in the world. When I was a child I believed my father was a good man and my family was whole. Also, though evil surely existed, we lived with a sense of comfort so secure we never even thought about how many people with criminal pasts involving sexual crimes lived in our zip codes.

Salad - Pick one: butter, margarine, olive oil.
margarine

Main Course - If you could learn another language, which one would you pick, and why?
Spanish out of growing necessity in a changing America. Greek out of a desire to grasp my family heritage.

Dessert - Finish this sentence: In 5 years I expect to be… a dad.
