Friday Feast #5

Appetizer : When you travel, what mode of transportation do you prefer?
Have to go with instant teleporter, but as those are hard to come by, I like the control of driving, but not the time it takes, and I like the speed of flying, but not the hassles of the airport and the small spaces as a 6'2" guy.

Soup: Have you ever met a blogging friend in person?
If I keep it to blogging, and not any online connection, I can still say yes. I met several friends of a friend. I got to know them while our mutual friend was engaged and we met at the wedding.

When was the last time you were really, really tired? For me it's really any time I am sick, though I was not sick Wednesday night. I went to bed just before midnight and could not get up til 10am yesterday and then I napped more once I got downstairs.

Main Course: If you could have dinner with one fictional character from a book or a movie, who would it be?
Frank Bama and Trevor Kane, the lead male and female characters in Jimmy Buffet's Where is Joe Merchant? Of course he had a friend who would have to be played by Randy Quaid if they did a movie, but I see Frank as a 40ish Harrison Ford and Trevor as a early 30's Meg Ryan. Fun people.

Dessert: One day I hope to se __________.
Sanjaya Malaker kicked off American Idol, stripped to his shorts, tied to a tree, covered in honey, and left for the bugs and animals. Second choice, anyone and everyone I choose, naked.

Oh, you know... I am sensing a little hostility in your dessert today! ROFL!!! I don't watch television -- but I hear enough complaints about this kid... I dunno....

Sorry you've been under the weather... hope you're feeling better today!

HAPPY EASTER!

I can't believe it! I said teleporter too! I was sure I was being original. :S

I loved your dessert. Yum! ;)

It's not Sanjaya's fault. He's doing his best -- and that's better than I could do. I think the problem is that people are asking people to vote for the worst person in an attempt to destroy Idol.

I wish someone would invent that teleporter like yesterday.

I do feel sorry for Sanjaya. While I wouldn't go as far as your dessert, I love to see someone disable the vote for the worst network.

LOL on your dessert! Why is there a hate campaign against Sanjaya. He seems to be a nice boy. I watched him twice and he's not that bad. Anyway, happy weekend! :)

Im not sure there is a hate campaign but the boy doesnt seem to care anymore. I do hope he is enjoying this attention and he does seem nice..a bit strange, but nice
