Wordless Wednesday #3 - "The Castle"

This is an actual private residence in Roswell, GA. Gnomes guard the gates, and the moat leads into a swimming pool in the back!

Somebody lives there? How cool would that be. Yes, I live in a castle. Someone was very brave with their architecture.

Very cool! I hope it isn't as drafty as a real castle. ;)

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I can't believe that's someone's home. My daughter would love to live there!

I would like to live in such a castle, but I am afraid I can't afford all the staff you need for it to keep it neat !

Here I thought this was where you met Amy. :)

And I bet they never need to worry about painting or siding on the house! What a cool place to live - I can only imagine what the inside looks like!

That is a squatty castle. lol I know it's probably normal sized, but this pic makes it look like it's been built for elves.

Wouldn't it be fun to live there? Then again, you'd have to get used to people driving slowly by, pointing and taking pictures. *grin*

Thanks for posting this. I think I've already left you word that as a teen we were on 140 every weekend going back and forth to my grandfather's property. It's off of East Cherokee Drive in Canton. I saw the castle being built from an empty piece of ground to what you see today.

I've added your blog (and Amy's) to the Georgia blogroll at Georgia On My Mind and will try to remember to link to this in an upcoming post. I think it's so neat.
