Water Damage

Last week we had water in the garage due to a clog in the air conditioning condenser drain. We had someone come out Thursday and fix it. The problem is they did not fix it and it continued overnight and through Friday. I called the AC people again and they came out Saturday morning and found and cleared the clog.

The problem is, as it continued to leak, it seeped under the wall between the garage and kitchen and it saturated the pad under the laminate hardwood and warped the hardwood. So we now have a homeowner's insurance claim with a $1000 deductible. We are hopeful that the insurance company will be able to recoup this from the AC repair company, because we certainly cannot afford it right now as we have one of us out of work.
