A fitting tribute. I love Buffet!
I understand the Buffet love, and don't even scoff at folks going to his concerts in shorts and t-shirts despite it being 35 degrees, but I can't say I care either way. Don't have anything of his on the iPod.
I love love love his version of Mexico; and Love in the Library reminds me of when I lived in Japan (the album had just come out then).
-running to hide- I Hate Jimmy Buffett
I must comment on this as out of 4 comments, 2 arent Buffet fans. I wasnt a fan until I met my Michael. He didnt include my favorite Margaritaville..
Im surprised there are more anti-Jimmy fans besides Uncle Dennis, who calls Jimmy a manatee turd eater..My uncle is a professional fisherman
He went to Paris always make me weep - as does Biloxi.
Recently I commented on the problems with getting a license plate connected with an historic event; there's always some PC person who wants to take you on!
I don't own a car now, but if I did, Virginia had a Parrothead plate! Now THAT would bring smiles!
BTW. The Speedwell set out with the Mayflower, but they both had to return when the Speedwell proved unseaworthy; the Mayflower sailed alone. The Godspeed accompanied the Discovery and the llarge Susan Constant to Jamestown. (It's Jamestown's 400 birthday this year!
